Modern Day of Filipino Nationalism

As a student, there are so many ways on how to show and provide our Filipino nationalism.                    
But the question is: are all Filipino's acting in those ways?
And what is the meaning of Filipino nationalism anyway? whats the true essence of it?

Filipino nationalism began w/ an upsurge of patriotic sentiments and nationalistic ideals in the 1800's Philippines that came as a consequence of More than 2 centuries of Spanish rule.(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filipino_nationalism).

So One way of showing Filipino nationalism is to buy Filipino products, If we do that we can help make our economy Strong. 
Respect our Filipino values and traditions,Not acting/expressing foreign languages.



 Another way to show Filipino nationalism is to appreciate more of our own Filipino musics and musicians, Also by supporting Filipino films and film makers.Another one is to support and promote Filipino inventions. And last but not the least: is to support freedom of information, report corrupt gov.t officials, employees, And even citizens of this country who did not obey the rules and regulations of the barangays or municipalities.


Simply we must be proud of who we are and what we have as a Filipino. our culture, history, traditions and our very own products. as they say "Tangkilikin ang sariling atin" we must give respect to our fellowmen for us to promote peace in our country and for the betterment of our future.
